Infrared filters work well with many of today's digital cameras.  
Infrared filters work by blocking the visible light and allowing only the
infrared light above their designated wavelength to pass.

B+W infrared filters are made with Schott RG830 IR glass and allow only
infrared light above 830nm to pass, very similar to a 87C type filter.  
Cokin infrared filters (84mm and 100mm) are an 89B filter made of resin.  
You would require a Cokin P Holder and Adapter Ring to use this filter.


The Filter Connection's exclusive Wyndham infrared filter is available only in 37mm.
Wyndham 37mm IR 100 Filter with German-made Schott RG1000
solid IR glass allows only infrared light above 1000nm to pass.
