    The above ND filters are available in solid optical glass from Marumi filters, and B+W's in double coated, one coating on each side, multicoated more than on on any side and no optical coatings. The New Tiffen's HT Digital multicoated are made with the Motion Picture Products Industries world wide standard glass laminate method and are perfect.

All of the above Neutral Density filters are mounted in black threaded anodized rings, some filters versions are in lower profile rings for today's new ultra wide zooms 12 mm and under. Like the Marumi DHG ND8's The filter mount is only 3mm thick with threads on both sides now proven to be excellent for 4+ years. All brands of round ND filters come with useful packages for storage use.
