Important note, the thin mount filters have no front threads, it is not possible to attach any accessory hood or snap on lens cap to the filter. Only slip-on caps can be used.
the plus of the thin mount filters is unlike Extra Wide type filters, built in hoods or hoods that bayonet to the outside barrel of the lens should be able to be used, so no need to have to buy two hoods for each lens.

Very Important Note: all our B+W filters are imported by Schneider USA, Fully backed by us and Schneider. Call us for current availability, some of the slim line filters are not currently in stock at Schneider USA or B+W Germany The filters are only available special order, hand made to order, Yes! they very often only make one filter at a time, it takes about 5 to 6 weeks for delivery. we spoke to customers again, that have had filters on Back-Order for, over 5 months at another major store. Please make sure you are purchasing from a Schneider USA Dealer. When you place your order from us, we place your special orders the same day or next day to Schneider, which then orders the filters with in a week or less to Germany. You will receive your filters in a reasonable time not 5+ months. You are welcome to call or email Schneider to make sure when you will be getting your filters, we always follow up on our special orders they are important to us, as to you. If you have been waiting a unreasonable time, the customers we spoke to had and found out they were not even on order!
