Made from high quality optical glass, this Haida 77mm Slim Multi-coated Neutral Density Filter Kit combines three of the most popular ND Filters into one convenient kit. Each filter provides a reduction in light while maintaining optical clarity and color fidelity. This solid density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. These Haida Neutral Density filters will not produce color shift or color cast. The ND 0.9 provides a 3-Stop reduction in light and the ND 1.8 provides a 6-Stop reduction, making these filters excellent choices for lower light conditions, such as early morning or late evening. The ND 3.0 Filter provides a 10-Stop reduction in light and is an ideal filter choice for midday photography, as well as long exposure photography where the 10-Stop filter can be used to capture movement, such as clouds in the sky or water in a landscape setting.
The water proof and scratch resistant Multi-coating is both an anti-reflection coating as well as a protective surface. The PRO II multi coating provides resistance to dirt, dust, scratches, and the elements, and minimizes reflections, increasing the clarity of the image. It helps to increase light transmission be reducing reflections, scattered light and ghosting.
These filters are mounted in a thin Aluminum ring and the front threads on the filter allows for filter stacking, so you can combine any of these ND filters with other filters or hoods.
