The LEE Filters 100mm Deluxe Set has been created with the best of Lee Filters products, both old and new!
The LEE 4x4 Big Stopper is a 10-Stop ND Filter that will produce breathtaking images. With the Big Stopper, just a single filter allows you, the photographer, to increase the exposure to many minutes, rendering clouds soft, water smooth and milky, car headlights as streaks of color, or people as abstract, blurred figures.
Whatever format you shoot, LEE Graduated Neutral Density filters help all cameras record scenes more like we see them - with a broad tonal range that's lost if not captured in the moment. LEE Medium Edge Graduated Filters, a brand new product from Lee Filters! The purpose of the Medium Grad is to filter the sky with minimal impact on the land. Ideal when elements like rooftops and mountains protrude into the sky, balancing out the exposure throughout the frame. A true neutral density grad should have no impact on color balance, and because LEE filters are perfectly neutral, your images will be true to what you see in nature. LEE filters Neutral Density Grads can be stacked together, or with other filters, so you can respond to almost any lighting situation.
A hard edge graduated filter is characterized by a very sharp transition between the clear and neutral density sections of the filter. A hard edge grad allows the photographer to control with great precision the desired effect of the image – especially when the transition between two areas in the frame is particularly abrupt, such as a flat horizon line over the ocean. The effect of the filter ‘carrying over’ from one part of the frame to another would be undesirable.
The LEE Filters 105mm Landscape Polarizer is a circular glass filter specially designed for landscape photographers using wide-angle lenses on full-frame DSLRs. This slimmer polarizer will go down to 16mm without vignetting when used with a two slotted filter holder on a full frame 35mm sensor.
However, the LEE Filters 105mm Landscape Polarizer comes with an added advantage. It has a slightly warm bias, adding an 81a warm-up to the filter, so not only is the photographer able to remove glare from shiny surfaces, or increase the contrast between blue sky and white cloud, they can also enhance the greens, browns and gold’s that are so often associated with photography in the landscape.
Because the Landscape Polarizer screws onto the front of the holder, it leaves both slots in the holder free, allowing the photographer to add further filters of their choice, opening up even more creative possibilities.
