Marumi 52mm EXUS UV (L390) Filter and EXUS Circular Polarizing Filter Kit
The Marumi EXUS UV (L390) Filter blocks the invisible ultraviolet radiation, which often turn your images blue and causes them to be out of focus and hazy. The UV Filter produces an image with an accurate color representation and ensures a higher contrast in photos. The Marumi UV filter is suitable for use in coastal and mountain areas, in clear weather. The transparent UV filter does not affect the exposure time and can therefore, be left on the camera lens. An anti-static coating has been applied to the surface of the filter, too, to provide easy removal of dust and dirt, which furthermore offers resistance against water and oil to aid in cleaning and removal of water drops and fingerprints.
In addition, the Marumi UV Filter acts as a protective cap on the lens. The filter is less delicate and more durable than the lens of your camera, meaning that the filter is less likely to be damaged in the cleaning process. The UV filter protects the camera lens against sand, water droplets etc. as it can be kept on the camera lens. Further, if the camera lens is dropped, the UV filter will break on impact, generally leaving your expensive camera lens intact.
The thin filter ring design is ideally-suited for use with wide-angle lenses and features multiple light-blocking ridges, a satin finish, and a black ink coating to help further reduce the likelihood of surface reflections that can cause lens flare and ghosting.

The Marumi EXUS Circular Polarizer helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy conditions. A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it supports full use of a camera's autofocus and auto exposure functions.
This filter features high quality glass with an anti-static coating that also provides water and oil-resistance to protect the filter from dust, dirt, and moisture and to also aid in cleaning.
