The NanoPro MC Circular Polarizer Filter from Haida helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized, causing the light to scatter, which we see as a haze. A polarizing filter corrects this issue by allowing for the absorption of much of this light. The result is a noticeable reduction of flare, glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage. This filter is constructed from optical glass for outstanding clarity and color fidelity.

The Haida NanoPro multi coating includes 10 layers of anti-reflection coatings, which also offers greater protection to the filter glass and helps keep it clean for a longer period of time. The NanoPro coating provides an additional protection layer that results in an improved beading effect when the surface encounters water or oil, allowing for more efficient cleaning.

The Haida NanoPro Circular Polarizer is mounted in a thin, 5mm lightweight aluminum mount with front threads allowing you to stack additional filters with the Polarizer to create unique images. The Haida NanoPro Circular Polarizer was designed with ease of use in mind, with side knurling that provides a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens and a filter ring that can be rotated to increase or decrease the polarization effect. The strongest effect is obtained when the Haida NanoPro Circular Polarizer is used at a 90° angle from the sun. This allows for the most saturated and vivid colors, making your images “pop” and appear more like we see them with the naked eye.

This filter is designed to attach to the front thread diameter of the lens and ships in a protective hard plastic case.
